You've already been having fun sharing information about your prized possessions in the GunZoo Gun Vault, so why not share more? With this release you can now post just about anything.

In addition to sharing your gun information using GunZoo's Gun Vault now you can share just about anything! It couldn't be easier; just log in and go to your profile. You'll find a new form at the top that will allow you to share any of the following:
FAQ's
GunZoo is an open site, so any GunZoo user or visitor will be able to see what you post. If you would like to communicate directly and privately with another user please use Private Messaging.
The home page will display all posts from all users. If you only want to see the posts of the users you are following just go to your profile and view "Following Activity". This will only show the posts of the people you've chosen to follow.
Anything related to shooting sports, outdoors and hunting. Please do NOT post anything that wouldn't be considered work or family appropriate or is off topic. Remember that the GunZoo staff reserves the right to remove any post that does not conform to GunZoo's Terms & Conditions.
Your posts will not be sent to Facebook even though your accounts are linked - they will only show on GunZoo.
This all depends on your notification settings. We highly recommend that you enable notifications so you don't miss anything! To adjust your settings, hover over "My GunZoo" at the top of this page and click on "Edit Settings" in the menu that pops up.

For this release we focused on delivering a new way to communicate and showing even more information about the traffic to your GunVault.
1. Private Messaging
With Gun Zoo Private Messaging you can now communicate one on one with any GunZoo user. To get started just make sure you're signed up and logged in then look for the conversation bubbles on the top of your screen. Click it and get a conversation going!
2. Gun Vault View Counts
Now we show how many people have viewed the guns in your Gun Vault! You can check for this information on either the showcase view of one of your guns or on your Gun Vault menu.

We've said it before but we continue to push ourselves to bring you new features - and we've got some great new stuff for you. We're thrilled to announce our May release of GunZoo.com! The features of this release are some of our best to date and we hope you'll drop by and give them a try.

Welcome to our biggest and most exciting release to date! This release focuses on making GunZoo more user friendly and more fun to use than ever. We've redesigned nearly every page in the site with you, our user, in mind. We hope that you'll find the new activity feeds and page layouts to be much more informative and the site in general to be much easier to use. There's so much to discover; why not click around for a while?

Activity Feed
The GunZoo activity feed brings you all the latest user updates! The feed features activities like new guns owned, GunVault pictures updated, GunVaults tagged, comments on GunVaults and much more. You'll find the GunZoo activity feed in various locations throughout the site:
There are also mini-activity feeds in other places in GunZoo. You'll find activity feeds on our News and Product profile pages.
GunZoo Gear
Our GunZoo Gear section is now up and running! Check out the gear tab for a selection of GunZoo apparel by clicking "Gear" at the top of the page.
New Home Page
When you come to GunZoo.com you'll be greeted by a new home page. We've updated the old page to make it much more welcoming and to show much more of what's happening at GunZoo.
We've also brought the GunZoo activity feed right to the top of the site. Every time you hit the home page you'll find an up-to-date activity feed representing all of GunZoo. This is a great way to see what other users are doing in the site and maybe even finding other people to follow and connect with.
The Tagged Guns section highlights GunVault gun profiles for which users have uploaded pictures and tagged modifications. We bring these to the front because that's where you'll learn the most about what other users are shooting.
New Layout for User Profile Pages
We've improved the layout of your user profile. Your user image is now larger and the menu options on the left side have been reconsidered and better organized. If you haven't uploaded a profile picture yet, please go to your profile and add one now!
New Look for Email Notifications
The notifications that you'll receive from GunZoo have a whole new look! Keep an eye on your inbox for emails with a fresher look. As always, your notification settings can be adjusted in your account settings. These settings can be accessed under the "My GunZoo" menu in the upper right of the screen.
New Look for GunVault
Prior to this release your GunZoo GunVault was represented as a text only list on your user profile. How boring was that?! We've updated your main GunVault page to be much more informative and feature your pictures. You'll see others' GunVaults the same way. So click around the site, and enjoy the new view!

For our first release of 2012 we're very proud to announce the launch of our Gun Shops & FFL search. Additionally we've made improvements throughout the site to improve the user experience.
Gun Shops
Do you need to find a gun shop in your area to check out the latest equipment in person, or do you need an FFL to complete a transfer for a firearm you've purchased online? It can be tough to track down information using Internet search engines. Results can be outdated or mixed in with irrelevant results. Our first release of GunZoo Gun Shops allows users to find gun shops in their area with a fast and focused search. Results are displayed in a list and plotted on a map. Clicking on any shop will take the user to a details page where they'll see the shop address, phone number and a detailed map showing the shop's location. Enter your address and the tool will even generate driving directions.
I Own It
One of the easiest ways to add a gun to a GunZoo GunVault is to use the advanced gun search. From the gun details page, adding it to a GunVault is as easy as clicking "I Own It". Then the user can enter information about how they use the gun. This will help other users with similar interests find out what others are using. In this release, we've added a "Save and Customize" button to the usage window that will take the user directly to the latest addition to their GunVault. From there the user may upload their own picture, tag it with their modifications and write a detailed description of the gun. One in a user's GunVault, other GunZoo users can "like" the gun, ask questions, or rain down compliments through comments.
Show All Likes on the GunVault
We've added a tab to the GunVault profile that will now show the number of likes a gun has, along with who likes it. This is a great way to find other users with similar interests.

Version 2.5 let us revamp our news feed and do some housekeeping here at GunZoo. You'll find a many small improvements to the site in addition to the following features. As always, we welcome your feedback. Please email us at contact@gunzoo.com with any comments, ideas or other feedback.
Comment and Owner Counts
We've added numbers indicating the number of comments or owners to tabs throughout GunZoo to show you where the activity is!
More Email Notification Options
There's a lot of activity going on inside GunZoo these days, and now we're making it easier than ever to stay up to date. We've added the following optional email alerts to the system. These can be be turned on or off from your account settings. Go to My Account, Edit Settings and look for "Email Notification Settings".
News Feed Enhancements
Our revamped news feed looks better than ever. Take a look and you'll find an easier to navigate main page with larger images. Gone are the lists of news stories by month leaving more space on the page for content. Now, when you're viewing a news story you'll see other stories that have come in both before and after the one you're reading.

Our previous releases have focused on the GunVault - an online library of your firearms. Hopefully you've had a chance to create your own vault and made it personal with pictures, descriptions and modifications. Now that you have set up your GunVault it's time to share it with others. This release gives you two simple tools to do just that.

Forum Signature Creator
Many GunZoo users are very active on firearms forums. If you're one of them, then this feature is for you! Regardless of the forum, we know that sharing what you shoot is a common function of the community. Sharing pictures is great, but there are always so many questions that come up. What modifications have you made to the gun? What is the background of the gun? Why did you buy it?
Most forums give you the opportunity to create a signature that automatically attaches to the bottom of the posts you make. This tool will create a list of the firearms in your GunVault with links that go directly to that profile on GunZoo.
To use this tool, simply log in and go to "My Account". On the menu on the left of the screen find the "Share My Vault" link. Once there, you can choose the forum you'd like to generate a signature for, select the guns you want to include and copy the generated signature to your clipboard. Once on your clipboard, just paste it as your signature and you're done!
Below is an example of how your signature will appear on your forum posts without any further editing. You can certainly add other information using your forum's editor if you'd like to dress it up even further.
If you don't see your forum listed in the menu please drop us a line at admin@gunzoo.com and we'll get it added!
And on and on. There's no better way to share the complete story of your gun than to link your forum friends directly to your GunVault. The Signature Creator allows you to do exactly that.
Share Your GunVault
Looking for a simple way to share your GunVault? From "My Account", click on the "Share My Vault" menu option. The first feature on that page allows a user to copy the web address (URL) to your clipboard with the click of a button. You can paste this link in any electronic document. Add it to a forum post, email, IM, Facebook and so on to share your GunVault with others.
If you've created a GunZoo GunVault you can create a forum signature, with links to your gun collection, in less than 2-minutes.

Once again we're blazing forward into uncharted territory. This release focuses on making the GunVault more user friendly than ever, and providing an easy feature that helps you get your friends involved. We've also performed some site maintence to keep things ticking and improve your experience on the site.

GunVault - Add ANY Gun!
Before this release users were only able to add a gun to their vault if it existed on our site. In this release users now have the ability for users to add ANY gun to their vault. This will be most useful to our users with unique, rare or custom guns.
Got a custom AR you've been building for years? Add it! Got a rare pistol that's been passed down in your family? Add it! Got a modern shotgun that GunZoo doesn't have a profile for (yet)? Add it!
To take advantage of this feature, go to your vault and click "Add Gun". If you can't find the gun you're looking for using the search tool, click on the link at the bottom and add your information. Once complete, your new gun will be immediately available in your GunVault.
Invite Friends to Join GunZoo
We sincerely hope that you find our service informative and fun. If you do and you would like to share it with your friends we've made it even easier to do so. When you invite friends, they'll receive a single email from GunZoo letting them know that you'd like to them to join the site. If they accept your invitation they'll be automatically added to your "Following" list as soon as they create a profile.
To use this feature, go to "My Account" and look for "Invite Friends" on the left side of the page.
News Articles, Add Your Voice!
We've enhanced the news feed to allow users to add comments to stories. To access this feature, simply view an article and scroll to comments on the bottom of the page. Users can now "like" stories as well. You must be logged in to comment or like an article. To find out what your friends like or have commented on, just go to their profile and view thier activity feed. So log on and let your voice be heard!

Facebook Integration
The integration of Facebook allows GunZoo users to create their profile and login more quickly and easily than ever.
In future releases we'll be exploring other ways of integrating with your Facebook experience.
Not comfortable linking your account? Be assured that GunZoo will never misuse your data. We will not have access to any of your passwords, and we will never post any information to your account without your explicit permission. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Use the 
button to create your new GunZoo profile.
Login into GunZoo as you typically would, then go to "My Account", then "Edit Settings." In the Linked accounts section, simply find the Facebook logo and click "Link Account." After this you'll be able to log into the GunZoo using the Login with Facebook button.

GunZoo is proud to announce the largest release in our history. We've performed a massive overhaul of the site and added a ton of new features. Please read through the release notes below to learn how to make the most of all the awesomeness packed into this exciting new release!

1. Complete Facelift
We've completely overhauled the look and feel of the site. We've made it easier to navigate through our site and easier on the eyes. Click through and tell us what you think by sending us an email at feedback@gunzoo.com.
2. GunVault
This is revolutionary functionality in the online world of firearms. In your GunVault you can log the firearms that you own, but that's just the start. Once you add a gun by clicking "I own it" on this site, you can upload your own image and then tag that image with the modifications you've made. We want you to be able to show off how unique your firearms are to other users.
Want to share your vault outside of GunZoo? Great! This is exactly what we hope you'll do. When you've updated your gun profile, just copy your unique link (in the address bar of your browser) and share it on your forums by adding it to your signature.
The GunVault is a place to upload your firearms collection, tag your additions and customizations, respond to feedback, questions, and comments on your guns by other users as well as follow like minded people and see what they're up to.
3. Add guns to your GunVault
You can now add guns to your GunVault by either clicking "I own it" from any product page or by clicking "Add Gun" on the bottom left of your GunVault. Adding guns to your GunVault is the first step to adding your own picture of your gun and tagging the modifications you've made to it.
4. Upload your own images of guns in your GunVault
You can now update your own picture of your gun to any gun added to your GunVault. These images are the foundations for earmarking the modifications and modifications you've made to your firearm.
5. Tag Pictures
You can now tag guns in your GunVault. Tagging guns allows you to highlight the modifications and customizations you've made to your gun. THis is an industry first and we are proud to offer this to you with your free GunZoo membership! Simply click Add Tags --> click the left mouse button and hold it down while you drag a box around the area of the picture in whcih you would like to tag --> add the information requested --> and when you're done click "Done Tagging" and you're all set!
6. Find Users
With the "Find Users" feature you can now search for your friends on GunZoo. Hover your mouse over the "My Account" drop-down in the top navigation bar, and select "Find Users". Then, just enter a few details about them and instantly find your friends and then add them to your network by clicking the "Follow" link.
7. Updated News Feed
The News Feed continues to be the best of the shooting and firearms world. You'll find articles here on the site as well as on our Facebook and Twitter feeds. If you'd like us to post your article, review or press release just email us at media@gunzoo.com.
8. Gun Compare
GunZoo's Gun Compare feature let's you put multiple firearms in a side-by-side feature comparison. This is the best place on the web to conduct your research due to our depth of information, detailed firearm information (just see the options you can search by) and easy to use layout. To get started, go to "Search & Compare Guns", start a search and add guns to your comparison cart.
9. User Settings
We've enhanced your ability to personalize your GunZoo profile. Just click on "Edit Settings" under "My Account" above. Don't forget to personalize your avatar!
